i have a 93 niassan terrano, its got a 2" body lift, ive had to wind the torsion bars to get it sitting level for some reason. I want to do a suspension lift so i have 2" springs for the rear & am wondering how to get more height in the front as the torsions are wound right up.

Winding to max is considered a 'poor mans lift' (not my words) and will lead to problems quickly. Winding an inch or so and you'll generally be ok. Throws out the suspension and steering geometry, so the components won't be operating at the angles they were designed for. This can have a domino effect...
Many go 3" bodylift only, no sways and have minimal front problems
Others go 3" torsion crank and have catastrophic problems

If you just wind the torsions up without doing a diff drop the C.V.'s will run on a bigger angle which will cause them to wear out faster and may break easier.

i went the way of 2 inch body lift, and 2 inch suspension lift and wish i just did a body lift and cut guards etc.
i was running smallish 33's for about a 6 months and constantly having problems.
i had alot of problems with winding the torsions up, main one was not much articulation and a hard ride.
i also went through cv boots like nobody's business, aswell as bent/snapped tie rods.
this was before i knew about all the other stuff like idler brace, etc to make it sturdier, just keep in mind your re designing the front suspension geomety.
i definitly recomend a diff drop, and dont bother running anything bigger than 32's, unless you do beef up the steering.
theres several ways to beef up the steering, from simply making a brace for the idler arm, to replacing most of the system with that out of a 2wd navara.

Sibainmud's truck is a great example of 'just enough' torsion crank and essential steering mods (hoohaa type centerlink, idler brace). Could be wrong but I don't believe he's done a CV yet...
Problem is you can't really diff drop these like you can Toyota IFS. The torsion bar pivot is on the lower control arm and gets in the way. So only about 1/2" is possible.

didnt have any back then, and still working on those flares.
trust me i wish i could, i would have photo's of it up towards macetown but had to stay down due to my dammed tooth needing pulled out.
im waiting for the other truck to sell and then i will be able to finish the neccesary things on the 'ranno... first thing is longer shocks...
