so i managed to get my truck a bit submerged in the weekend engine took on a bit of water , after sitting in the water for a few hours finally got a tow out . whilst in the water we attempted to start the truck , ( didnt have a snorkel) afew times when we got it out we removed the glow plugs and most of the intake piping and dried it out and cranked her over afew times blowing some water and other crap out , got her started and she ticked quite bad almost knocking and blowing a lot of white smoke and when driven blowing mainly blue ,and hesitates on boost have now given it a oil and filter change she idles alot better then before but still blows blue smoke , any way i can save this engine without spending an arm and a leg? any help appreciated.

You will have bent the rods.(my guess

)
Have done it to two trucks now
You could try just replacing rods but I just chucked the engine and bought another

trucks come right performance wise but chuffs blue smoke on idle , heard it can be rings , does anyone know if that stop smoke addictive will cure the smoke?
