Hey guys stuck with a problem driving me nuts in the weekend!!

70 Series 2.4 turbo auto SWB, every now and again, all the dash lights light up, and about 5 seconds later a shrill warning tone beeps. I have checked and re-wired oil gauge sensor wire (was a bit fryed) and checked all oil levels ect and it hasnt stopped. Any one encountered this problem before or know whats causing it? Havent been through and deep water or anything in the last 3 months any help would be awesome!!!

Check that the alternator is charging. Does it do it with key on the on position but engine not running?

get your alternator checked may not be charging, could be an intermittent fault or a loose connection

Alternator seems to be charging yes if you turn key to acc position to glow the plugs, bout ten seconds then the beeping starts unless you turn engine on. brake fluid fine will check fuel filter

Problem solved, I hope. fiddled with a few wires ect might have been a bad connection. A fuel filter warning would only set off the individual filter alarm not the entire dash get up.
