Truck Wont Start/ Electrical problems

I have a 1990 2.4 turbo toyota surf. For some reason everything i touch make the radio turn off and on. lights turn on and off everytime aswell even revs guage stop working and gas guage has stoped working even when i use the clutch or push the gas pedal stuff will turn off. i left truck running for 5 mins to try figure out wat was going on then it turned off and wont start jump started it let it run for abit left it for the day jump started it the next day only stayed on for a minute then turned off. just makes a click noise but wont turn over maybe the starter motor? please help

Check battery clamps are tight. Check alternator fuse is ok. Check all earth straps are clean and tight. I take it when your jump starting your letting the battery get some charge for 5mins off of the other car before trying to start?
