According to word of mouth the Te Aroha side of Thompsons Track will close within the year. The large slip that occurred last year was cleared but has begun to undermine the track. Just letting everyone know, this is not confirmed but seems very likely.

There is a process that the council need to go through before the road can be stopped where the public have a chance to have a say.. Will be keeping an eye out to see if this happens.
