What does it actually do?

I like the first expletnation better! Must be a fuse blown cause mine dont sound or go anything like them suckers!

I believe the switch is not for kickdown (thats built into tps at fuel pump) but cuts out A/c pump at full throttle. Could be used for other stuff too. But at least this theory explains why a factory manual has the switch...
