People who want to run big lift and big tyres on their Terrenos do a SAS convertion.
SAS is a 'solid axle swap,' which involves replacing the stock front suspension & drive gear with a tube type solid axle. It is both a conversion and an upgrade.
It's a 'hardcore' grade modification that takes a LOT of skill, experience & custom fabrication to do properly.

sas is a tla (three letter acronym) for solid axle swoop. as in live axle, like a Early hilux for example. lot of stuff on the net. but the problem with the net is that every ones is a expert, so take most things with a grain of salt. an other tip would be spelling terreno with an a in it. ie terrano. because terreno is soil or dirt and its not a common practice to upgrade ya dirt unless your a farmer.

If your concern use the report button.
dont forget there may be other people that see this thread and think, hang on, what is a SAS.
nothing wrong with informing people of new things.
