Engine stops when engine warning light comes on, after engine has run for 2 minutes. The engine will run with the vacuum hose to the soft stop disconnected and plugged. The engine light still comes on.
I have checked the fuel system thoroughly including the metering valve on the fuel pump, filters fuel lines etc.
Any ideas?

Suggest you search the forum... Plenty of info re issues with this engine...
Download a copy of the engine manual and follow the diagnostic guide.
My suggestion is the ECU is shot... or the fuel pump....

pull the ecu codes.
