Welcome.
Personally, I like the 33's. They still give you good towing ability against the 35's unless you're going to change the diffs, then it gets very expensive.
But there are plenty of people here that swear by the 35's.

have put 35s on 2 80 series cruisers now
mine had about a 3" lift and put 35" maxxis creepy crawlers on 15x10 Cragars with a -50 offset and they tuck up inside the guards just nice.
recently put my other 35s on 15x8.5" alloys with -35 offset onto my partners 80 and they also tucked up inside the guards nicely
33s look just as good on them as well
depending on what motor etc you have, there could possibly be an increase in fuel consumption as well although it hasnt been noticed too much on either of our cruisers

I beg to differ here............
this depends on manual or auto transmissions
the only issue towing with mine is that the towbar is so bloody high off the ground that some trailers almost drag their butt along

(here we go)
I've towed some heavy items behind my manual 80 (more tow than an auto) like a 30ft caravan, 7m fiberglass boat up some step hills. I wouldn't like to do it with 35's. Would be to gutless for my liking. The only time I had no problem running 35's was on my LS1 powered FJ40.
But hey. Each to their own. I hate gutless pos's.

I, "beg to differ".
Intercool it. Cool it as much as you like! It's still only a 4.2 with stock turbo n diff ratios. Slow as mate.

Anyways... 80cruz - if your in Aucks, come take my 80 for a drive up the bombays with a surf on a double axle trailer and decide for yourself - it will sit on 100 all the way.

Big deal.
Towed heavier stuff with me manual 80 on 33's. Stuff having a bigger tire size. It's just gunna be slower.

Thanx for all the comments, i have a custom tow bar been made so trailers sit nice and level, it just has a standard 4.2 turbo motor with a 3inch exhaust and a manual box at the moment its running 305/70/16 which are prety much 33s any way, but been having trouble finding a spare that size so that why i thought id look into another full set more common size

If you're going to do lots of towing then 33's are the way to go in my opinion(that's what I run) Then get someone that knows what they're doing to adjust your boost compensator valve so you can take off in high ratio and before you know it you'll be blasting past those nissans no worries
