Coils.....????

Post by albundy »

Have been looking around at different coils to find the happy medium between carryng a load and articulation and found interesting results.
lesson one: all coils are essentialy the same irrespective of brand. Why all made by one outfit just different names put on them=marketing bullshit and multinationalism.
lesson two: the only way to get good coils to the specifics that you want, you need to get them custom made=dollars and truck off road for at least 4 days.
Decision made: am buyng the inflatable airbags that go inside your springs, fit a T piece so they can self adjust and maintian my ride height with a load but keep the softness of OME coils Price:$380 way cheaper then the custom coils.

Not quite right, they ride a lot harder when carrying a load.
Got them in my SWB Prado, carrying 150Kgs, with 40Lbs af air.
