The chasis mount for my Escudo rear trailing arms are flogged out. (the bolt can move inside the hole) What do you guys think is the best fix?
* drill hole out bigger and lathe a stepped washer to insert into hole * weld a plate over the hole and drill new hole (mild steel? thickness?) * weld high tensile washer over flogged hole * drill out hole and use a longer crush tube

As lexlux said....I did the same with mine but before it flogged out, and i was cheap so made the washers myself with a drill press and a hole saw

Seems to be holding up fine for me.
But then I drive pretty sedately

Most places that sell bolts should sell 50x50x6mm washers, I will be doing this to tighten up a few holes on my truck.
