Rain Rain slipping'n'sliding up Worsleys Wed night mission

Post by mike »

Worsleys was fun in the dry but would be awesome in the wet and has it been raining or what, its meant to rain all day tomorrow and dry up on thursday.

So Anyone up for a night mission tomorrow night (wednesday) up worsleys spur? Last night mission I had was a very very wet aotea block in wellington and it was fun. Sure it was a friday and we didnt get out of there till midnight(stupid hole) but it was dam slippery and enjoyable.

I'm guessing a lot of digging, towing, and mud slinging and in the dark towards the end of the night.

Whos keen?

would need about 3 - 5 vehicles with agressvie muddies.

I'll fix my CV tomorrow.

would have been great up there. all that rain and now a wee bit of wind to dry it out just a little. if it had been next week and i had my lokkas in then i would have been keen.

oh well more opportunities will arise.

Yes he did, and whats worse for him is, he had to be towed out by a NISSAN!!

I have a new found respect for a close to standard baby whale, :D I don’t think your short wheel base SAF can be described as a full grown whale so hence the baby whale term.
After your SAF towing both me and mike up and down Worsleys  I was really impressed by how well it went 8) (I'm sure it was the good driver as well!!!).
As a staunch Isuzu owner I might have to concede that the Safari might become a second choice.

You are wasting your time H20 and Insky. Nissan owners are experts at argueing the point that Nissans are better than all others
You would think their time would be better spent fixing all the inadequacy's of the CARS that they drive. :P

The day I see a nissan out with us going where the Toyotas like to roam, is the day I'll give them some cudos  .

There we go boys, fight to the death over that!!!   :D :D :D

Dont forget guys, if we are going to compare trucks here, we need to compare apples to apples, ie, factory to factory trucks...

Which reminds me, I must point out that, 1 of the vehicles I towed, had lockers, compared to my 2 open diffs :-D And no lift, or mud tyres, just A/t's :-D

lol
