Using hilux surf parts for hilux pick-up???

[I live in Tanzania, Africa. I own a 1995 4CY hilux dual cab pick-up. Parts are hard get out here, and I'm wondering if I can take some parts off of the Hilux Surf V6 for my pick-up. Are shocks and springs exchangeable between the two trucks??
I plan on raising this up 2'' with 1'' bigger rim and new tires, add a leaf to the back with old man emus shocks and springs and a bull bar with winch capability.
let me know if you have any ideas. When I go out into the bush here I need to know I can make it back home.
Also, can any one tell me if this is a SWB or a LWB?
