Commy motor to turbo 350 trans

Totally over the chev motor now 
Sick of messing with carbs, flooding, hard to start, buying spark plugs, fitting spark plugs, fitting another carb, putting other carb back on cuz it's better than the new one, trademe "came of a great runner" parts bullshit etc etc
So.....
Anyone fitted a 3.8 v6 commodore motor up to a turbo 350 trans?
There are kits available out of oz to match up the housings/torque converter, but they are about $1200.
Anyone have a diagram/tech drawing that I can copy, and make it myself?
