there is also a Waipara (Hawkes Bay) trip in 2nd to 4th March for $350 for 2 inludes dinners and breakfasts etc

will post detail

Value - I think the Rodney Trip for keen 4wders - the other 2 could become no more than shingle road trips if it hoses down as the trips are geared to all terrain tyres and family trips - great views etc though and you get to meet the Trip Leaders from other clubs that can lead to tougher trips later :D
