New member 80 series
Ive just joined up, we have an 80 Series GXL with a few toys on it.
After 10 years with a 2.8 surf as the family car it was time to upgrade.
Unfortunately I havent had time to go far off road yet.
As the cruiser is my daily driver and the family car, I have to be a bit sensible with it as Im planning on enjoying going places in it for many years.
Im looking to get the family to places off the beaten track rather than seeing how deep a mud hole or river I can drive through.
I have the uhf scanning most of the time so if you see me grab the mic and say hi
Is there a channel most of the 4wd community use?
Cheers
Martin

whether its the right direction is another question

[. not many with an awning.... ]
We get the Australian 4wd action magazine and saw them in there,
Bought from Roo Systems, its a good awning but their communication was terrible, 5 phone calls to Brisbane before it arrived.
its great for those scorching canterbury days!
Im about to take it off for the winter as it gets damp inside the cover.
If you see me again toot and wave!
