I agree with the theory, but it's a bit of a waste of time. Wonder how he got on though in the end as it seems to have been a bit of a failure.
I remember reading something about not giving your name to the police as then you become a entity and enter into a contract where by you can be fined, imprisoned etc etc etc, but you'd probably have to be doing something dodgy or unemployed to read up on enough law to try and have a crack

americans do lots of these videos with open carry guns, funny to watch, and can agree if you dont use your rights you loose them, but what a waste of everyones time

I wonder how badly it ended for him.... The reason I say that is the last thing we see is a senior officer ask him for licence and insurance... then it stops. I saw he had another video about getting his car back too....
