Mates 40 series plugga is fitted with a 13B and at idle its running damn ruff as, like its dropped a cylinder or something??? Heap of grey/blackish smoke and its shaking more than a striper up a pole.... Give it a rev or up the idle speed and its mint, no grey/blackish smoke and all the shaking has gone.

BTW done a fuel filter and checked that each injector is getting fuel at idle(which they are).

Any idea's or area's to look at??

How many kms are on the engine and at what rpm does it come right? Might just be the idle rpms dropped too low.

All sorts of things are possible though so age and milage details would be awesome, ie when were injectors last replaced/rebuilt/cleaned, possible to send it in for a compression test or do one yourself?
Even could be as simple as blocked air filter?

Its a mud plugger, no speedo or rev counter...... Its not running an air filter ATM, due to not running right. We are looking for some injectors to do a test on it.

Harmonic balancer hasn't dropped off or come loose has it.
