Just a plug for these guys, got my ropes from them this week, good range of rope, cable, strops and all sorts, top guys to deal with as well.
I have included a link to their branch location web page to make it easy for everyone and if you dig they have product lists in the site.
They have ready made recovery ropes in a bin ready to go at various lengths.
I got 35 meters in three ropes with ends spliced from the CHCH branch for $79.00, about $2.25 per meter.

i know cookes does a discount for a lot of different companies so if your in there buy stuff ask about a discount for the place that you work alot of supliers don't have a discount but when you ask them will drop a few dollars off the total price its worth being cheeky sometimes

I buy wire rope, strops chains etc for work all the time ... and I won't go near Cookes unless no one else can supply... they are just to expensive on most things

awsome service, but just to expensive!!
Case in piont I got a 5 ton shackle from them $46 bought two more a week later from steel and tube for $36 together!!
Some things tho they are on par dynica winch rope is one they are the same price as everyone else, but others
Pays to ask round
Cheers Reece
