prado repower and gear box

so all my prado is a 2.4 auto and i now require it to be manual as have children that need to learn to drive ...so what can i do ---- maybe 3B and manual ??? or ... any imput would be great thanks ..mike 8) 8)

for the cost of changing the engine and box, let alone cert for new engine why not just get a cheap we runabout for them to learn in?

Unless the dollars aren't an issue, I'd say sell the auto and buy a manual one, I know they are harder to find but they are out there.
Or as said above, buy the kids a cheap run about, something small and easy to drive, also a cheap car that you won't mind a few small dings and scratches in as they learn how to drive.

If dollars aren't an issue, then 3L or 5L with intercooler and supercharger.

Thanks I do like the idea off a manual Prado and it would be cool if it was super charged too ..Have always liked the 2.8 diesel as a motor. . Think I may have to do some more research on this. .Thanks

Well. What type of super charger would you use and what would have to be done to the motor.
