About 4-5 kms out of Te Aroha you will find a sign post turning left into a short road leading to Thompsons track about a 1 km down the road on your right. Just inside the gate is a grassed area beside a farm house that is a good place to stop and unload/air down. Heaps of tracks off to the left and right on the way up. Have a play as some are fantastic. Just take a lot of care when you get to the very top in the wet. Shes not a huge stopping area and the fall is a one way ticket. When you going up???
