Changing winch cable to rope?

Post by lneil »

Does anyone know if the Warn Tabor 10K can be fitted with rope instead of the supplied cable? It's on a Suzuki so weight is definitely an issue for me! :D

I don't know squat about winches and seem to recall hearing that some winch drums are not suitable for rope.

Thanks Wop, will do. I was just hoping someone on here might know off the top of their head. This site makes you lazy, it's too easy to just ask the question here and expect infinite knowledge and wisdom :D
