BJ74 Chinese air lockers?

Wanting to do the front and back. Putting the feelers out for those who have done it. Any advise or opinions would be appreciated. i.e
where to place the compressor and switches,

What model are you after RD132 or RD142, what sort of use will they get, why the preference for the Chinese ones other than the obvious $$$.

No real preference other then dollars. Mostly touring and hunting wagon usage and the odd play in a 4x4 park. Thinking RD142 (not sure to be honest) since the wagon is 1986.

Be careful with the RD132 side bearings if using the old 8" housing, some 32010 bearings have the radii to small and don't mate up to the thrust surface properly.
Strip them down and rebuild them, they come with a bit of swarf and dirt in them. Check for badly produced parts and replace or repair as required. Only ever had one part like this, it was a thrust washer that I hammered back to shape.
The machining can be a little out as well, I have one here that walks side to side (can't be seen by eye but measurable) and this effects the backlash, from experience it'll still do the job.
Air can leak from the seals but ARB's supposedly do the same.

Thinking of importing myself,but it might not be worth the trouble due QA issues. Looking more likely getting these locally and fitted for the warranty.
