Completely rebuilt my alternator, rectifier, regulator, bearings, seals. Soooo much better now. I am amazed how the thing was still going with only one brush and caked in mud.

Finally got winch back together tonight after cleaning much rust & mud out of its innards. Tomorrows mission is modify mount so I can get it in and out for maintenance without pulling so much other stuff off (tui moment - I'm going to maintain it before it stops working this time : yeah right)

Terrano is booked in for wednesday so going to put it in the shed and check over everything again.
Bighorn also has to go into shed and swap mirror/taillight and sort out power steering box, ive run some stop leak through it, now to degrease it and put it back in to get warrant ticked off.
Camry clean sheeted again yay!
Also sorted out piping for intercooler on terrano, filled it up with water so just need to get pump sorted now.

Had a big weekend, Saturday we had a club run up the raglan range, awesome view and a wicked track. Found out the truck doesn't like altitude much
Sunday was a trip up to Mt Reiley to have a play on the winch challenge tracks, we had a ball up there in the rain. Managed to get half way up the Marathon before we decided to turn back. It took us an hour and a half to get up and back only to be told it could be done in ten minutes More pics to come
Started on my onboard air system today hoping to get it finished tomorow

Bent Rear Panhard rod at Woodhill Saturday when winched sideways We straightened on my bull bars by hand, my school bike had stronger tubing than this! Defintely going to replace them all. Seems rather underspeced compared to everything else on the Saf.

EFS toughdog , superior engineering, all good gear, though did manage to bend a super tie rod once, but we couldn't see under the truck to what was stopping it moving,
