R50 Terrano 3.2td Vibration/Wobble
R50 Terrano developes a wobble/vibration at motorway speeds. Its not rims or tyres as ive had them replaced and balanced numerous times, also its not coming through the steering wheel, can feel it directly under the car. Could it be driveshaft or box issues? Its mainly only noticeable while coasting/gently accelerating, it will disappear with harder acceleration but shit its annoying. Usually develops around 80-100kph

Vibration from driveshaft is a 'fast' vibration (spins faster than wheels).
The rear suspension trailing arms can suffer from soft bushes which can give a wobble. Very hard to diagnose without a testdrive...

They are bad for rear suspension bushes. It makes them fun to drive when they get really bad.

rear suspension bushes and lower front A arm bushes. they are like changing the oil on those things...... very regularly.
Waiter...there is a drought in my glass.

I was driving today thinking its a shudder. Thats the best way to explain it. Could be bushes, everytime i come to a stop then begin to move again i notice a thud from the rear. Could also explain how it unsettles over sharp bumps in the road. Cheers for the insight. Gives me somewhere to start looking
