WTB Prado / Safari

Hey guys, keen to see whats out there or if you have anything that might be coming up for sale.
Im keeping a close eye on TM for a Y60 Safari, LWB TD42 "Whale" or LJ78 Prado, and looking around for good trade-ins. Wanting to get something fairly standard and would be looking at a mild lift to fit 33's. Needs to be LWB to fit family, kids and all their paraphernalia. Good cond Prado's are like hens teeth and tend to be a bit pricey for what you are getting. Have seen quite a few really good Safaris pop up for under $5k and they seem to be pretty good offroad and tough as nails. Do many of them have factory diff lockers???

Also looking at Bighorns and Surfs but would have to be in really good nick/manual/good kms etc etc (need to keep the wife happy too), This usually puts the surf into crazy money territory and dont know much about the bighorns....yet..

Hi mate I have a surf its auto though with 260 k's on the clock got two sets of wheels with rims. Let me know if your are interested.

Don't be put off with a Safari that just has LSD instead of a locker, the LSDs work well.

sorry guys dont know much bout The Nissan side of the world.......do all safaris have LSD? If not how can i tell LSD from open dif when looking?

Usually theres a big orange sticker with lsd beside the filler hole

by jacking up rear axle and spinning one wheel, if the other spins the same direction then it has an lsd, if its opposite then its either open or a locker.

Sweet thanks......so anyone got a LWB (Safari / Cruiser / Prado) for sale? I have been confined to the tarmac for to long now!
