15x7 rim suite 11.5" tyre?

Post by terrano »

May of been covered before cant seem to find it though, would the above fit ok? Trying to find the perfect size and offset rim for the terrano to fit my 32x11.5 tyres, by the sounds of it 15x8 -12.5 works well but cant seem to find any for sale, and i have a 15x7 rim lying around so was thinking of fitting a tyre to that for a spare.

I'm running 35x11.5x15 Sinverstones on 6in rims and it's great for keeping the bead seated at low pressures. Narrow rims are great for serious off-road tyres. Downside is if you run them on your road tyres - they may tend to wear in the centre, and be not so stable on cornering. Also if you get a fussy WOF inspector I think the "book" says you need 8in rims - so ideally look for some. But 7in rims are fine for practical purposes - and definitely OK for a spare...
