My broker has given me a quote for insurance on the cruiser, I've got to redo all the business stuff and thought I'd get the truck done at the same time.

None of my previous trucks have been of an insurable condition  so I've never priced insurance for any of them

He quoted me $315.95 inc GST for 3rd party/fire/theft for me and Mrs Husain and $552.50 inc GST full cover for me and Mrs Husain.

The trucks a landcruiser with chev conversion and I gave him a value of $6k.

Are these prices good bad or ok?

How come your 3rd party fire and theft is under half of what I've been quoted, who's that through?

I put 6k on the Ch'okee..... $350 per annum. $500 excess. I believe its discounted due to deal with income protection/mortgage/house and contents/two other cars, all done through BNZ.

Full cover, including offroad, however, if its wiped out in an area inaccessable to a recovery vechicle, then it stays there.
Told them of all aftermarket alterations. Leave one item out and theyll use it as an exuse to not pay, so the nice lady at state told me anyway.
