L.P.G devotion ?

Have got L.P.G on my 1990 v6,but last year it was disconnected by my mechanic as the alt fuel certificate lapsed, and no refill station for 35 k's,so I thought bugger it ,just disconnect it to get warrant.
So now I've moved to another town and all of a sudden L.P.G is lookin good for me,(petrol $$) etc.
I had tuning issues last time I ran gas and it seemed to run way smoother on petrol(can switch between both) ,gas seemed to be jumpy, rough idle and prone to stall.(especially on hills for some reason?)
My question is do I devote this vehicle to gas or what ?
What are the pros-cons of this ?

Cheers

get it tuned properly
if the motor is injected then it may pay to look at getting a chip that will alter the tune between fuels

Where are you in nz ? if the lpg hasn't been used for awhile the regulator will need a going over, possibly a gasket set as well.

You don't need to go to dedicated Lpg to have it run properly on gas, it sounds like the system just needs a good service/tune by someone who knows what they are doing.

The ideal duel fuel system will have some means of altering the ignition curve to suit each fuel. However even without this, when running on lpg it should still run smooth and not be prone to stalling, it just may be down on power.
