Hi guys
I have raised the boost on my t-rex but am having a bit of trouble finding out exactly where and which screw to use to increase fuel delivery.
Its a 96 R3M-R with a TD27T.
If anyone could lend a hand it would be most appreciated!

If its a 96 that's an r50 they have an efi pump, not easy to wind the fuel up on them.

yeah, went to look for that screw last night and couldnt find it.
It is an R50 so i guess its bit different, the top part is rectangular not circular like the one shown in the first link.
Anyone else got an idea?

You can increase fuel slightly but it increases your idle speed and can cause surging as well as holding up in revs when returning to idle if you go too far. The electronically governed pumps best respond to being "chipped".

put a couple 2mm washers behind the wastegate actuator,
it brought my 2lte surf on boost way quicker without chipping and messing with the pump,
a boost gauge first is a good idea mine jumped only a couple psi but it made a world of difference

thats just bumping up the wastegate preload. good trick as it helps get rid of some of the wastegate creep but to much means turbo can boost spike.
it looks like hes already increased boost so wastegate mods won't achieve much.
i can't recall what efi pump the terrano has. some types like the one the surf uses you can adjust the electronic valve on the pump to give a crude increase in fuel.
can you post some pics of the pump?

Its a Zexel COVEC pump on them. they are basicly a VE pump with an electronic governor as far as i know they are not adjustable at all.

i googled up some pics and it looks like it doesn't have the adjustable type solenoid on them.

You can wind a bit more fuel into them, but as said above they do idle faster. There are 4 screws on the top rectangular plate on the top of the injector pump. Do Not Undo Them With Engine Running!!! If you undo the 4, the top plate will slide back and forth, but you only want to move it literally 0.2mm. If you bring your low idle speed up to any more than 1000rpm it will make it a bastard to drive in traffic or at low speed. I've bought mine up to about 950rpm in the past, it tows our boat over the kaimais a fair bit better, but I've put back down again, unless you're using the extra fuel, its a waste of time.
So undo the 4, slide it forwards (towards the front of the truck), but its a very very slight movement. If you move it more than 0.6 mm it will bring your low idle speed to around 2000rpm, which is less than ideal.
I've done this with my td27eti, as well as a few others and a few qd32's as well with a tidy wee gain.
