FS: Not 4wd Related... Box Body/potential Hunters Hut

Post by Cameron »

Have a box body from a smallish truck that I need to get rid of. Was on a Mazda titan, long wheelbase thing.
Will confirm Measurements, but, it's around 2.1/2.2 wide and 4.4 long, externally. probably about 2.2 high.
wooden floor in good nick. steel frame and alloy covering. was used to cart whiteware so hasn't had a hard life
pretty tidy
no leaks.
still has hydraulic tail lift on the back (which acts as the door) and 24v powerpack to run it.

I Got hold of it to use as a storage shed. in my infinite wisdom, I failed to recognise that I couldn't get it under my carport, thus, can't get it to the back of my section so I can't actually do anything with it.
Currently located in palmy. can lift onto a truck or similar. can probably help with local delivery.
good alternative to a full sized container in your back yard. wouldn't be a big deal to make up some doors for the back.
had a guy interested in it whom was going to chuck it up in the bush with some fold up bunks and a pot belly stove, and use it as a hunting hut but he seems to have disappeared at the moment.

Need it gone asap. Will let it go for $500! probably worth that alone in scrap

tail lift and powerpack worth that alone,
sounds like a boss trailer in the making

yeah the tail lift wee'd out a bit of oil. probably due to sitting round for ages but it wasn't that big of a deal. top it up and it'll probably stop leaking after a bit of use if req.
would be a pretty boss trailer! wouldn't need to add much structure for a chassis, really.
transport to featherston: perhaps! I'll see what I can do there.

2.1 of box height externally.
pretty much around 100-ish mm off each measurement for internal sizing.
