This from Bert

The venue is the Royal burn Farm on the Crown Terrace, details of how to get there will be in your entry packs given out at scrutineering.
We have 3 night stages, 9 day stages with the possibility of 1 super stage if the competition goes well.
The competition site is about half an hour out of Queenstown, the night stages are about half an hour on a 4 wheel drive track to get there from the day stage site, so will take an hour from Queenstown this will not leave me much time to get to the site as I will be doing the scrutineering!
All competition trucks and trailers can be left at the pit area ready for the day stages.
It is important to help as much as you can this year as we are very thin on the ground, this can be done by arriving at scrutineering early.
Drivers entry and indemnity filled out, co pilot indemnity filled out. Use your email to send these through or have them ready at scrutineering, first option preferred, there will be no forms to fill out at scrutineering!
Scrutineering begins at 3.00 pm at Grants road, and will finish at 6.00 pm or sooner. Grants Rd is 500 metres along the road from the events centre at Frankton towards Cromwell. or about 500m south past Placemakers

FRIDAY 6 Sept, night stages assemble from 6.30 pm at pit area.
SATURDAY 7 Sept, 9 day stages + Super Stage - begin 8.30 am.
Dinner will be at Hamills Family Restaurant Frankton
Dinners are included in the entry fee for Driver and Co pilot, extra dinner tickets are $35.00 each.
Details will be in the entry pack on where to go etc.
ENTRY FEE IS $110.00 to Bank account 03-1355-0755538-01 SBS
PUT YOUR NAME AS A REFERENCE
Can you email, text or phone what you have paid and when?
Those that want to can pay by cheque at scrutineering, I will need to know your meal requirements beforehand.

Any Problems call Bert on 0274224582.

Please fill in your forms BEFORE you arrive to help with speeding things up.
Trucks can be left up at the site as after the night stage as they can be parked up till the morning.

cheers

Just make it how you want it, stuff the rest.
They can make there own winch event.
Don't be sucked in by the key board jockeys.

MAINLAND WINCH CHALLENGE QUEENSTOWN AUDIT LOCATION

THE AUDIT LOCATION has now changed from Grants RD. It will now be the pit area of the competition site.
The time still remains the same 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm, on Friday 6 th of September.
Because those of you that don’t know how to get there, there will be 4x4 signs on the terrace from the Glencoe turnoff. Take the Crown Range Road as though you were going to Wanaka, from the Glencoe turnoff it is about 2 km to the site off to your right down a farm paddock, signed.
The Crown Range is ok for trailers, corners need to be taken wide, hazards on.
Cheers,
Bert.

Unfortunately so!!

We would love to have an open public event but we don't have the man power or area to be able to do it, maybe in time it will come but for now that is the way it has to be

Indeed so sorry to say as Glen has pointed out.. Also the club had a bad run with muppets with beer and bottles + abuse a few years ago so now blanket NO to public.. Unless you are supporting a team.
