Nice to see NZ logo on some tech gear. Flying in the Iroquoi's is a bit like hitching a ride in a series landie: all good but there's better tools for the job (fetch popcorn now for LR bites)

choice vid these are the ones that get dropped off by that humungous Russian plane huh? Was at ohakea the other Saturday picking my car up and saw that thing hit the tarmac. awesome!

Yea these are the choppers that are dropped off two at a time by the Russian Antonov AN124.
They are a bloody huge aircraft when you get up close and personal with them!
We have two more NH90s to arrive and that will take the final number to 8 plus one spare frame as a "Parts Truck" sorry couldn't help myself
As far as the smaller A109 helicopters go, we have had all 5 up and running since early last year plus one complete spare again. You don't hear much about these ones in the media though.
