The 4WD Stuff 'Shed'...

Note: for historical purposes I have edited this post - Anyone reading this will now note I have returned to the fold, opened a new worksop on Main North Road (SH1) between Pineacres and Woodend, and am very much back in business :)

Thanks

Steve
4WD Stuff

Some of you may have noticed I haven't been on here much lately... I've been hell-busy with various work-related commitments and I've had virtually no time to myself or to spend with my family in the recent past.

This coupled with the workload "The Shed" has provided (among all the other things I have to do in a week) has bough me to a crossroads - and sorry to say the shed lost - so effective immediately I am no longer available for work on vehicles, be it engine swaps, axle swaps, spring lifts or otherwise.

I am currently finishing the jobs I have started (Don't panic Brett) and once complete I am taking a break from mechanical work for an undetermined period - this is mainly for health reasons - I'm pulling 12 (or more) hour days to try and get through current work, which I can't sustain. I will still be able to supply suspension equipment where it is available "off the shelf", but custom suspension work and even spring fitting will need to be done elsewhere.

I would like to thank everyone for their support and patronage over the last couple of years, and as an upside (for me, anyway :P) I should have more time to come back on here and wind people (well, at least Rik) up :D

But I do hope you do that one last conversion - That nice big v8 into your mu :D I would like to be standing next to it when it starts up :D

Good luck with everything and I would like to thank you for your support of this site and I hope you do continue to sell off the shelf stuff.

Mike

Saddend that an era comes to an end, but happy that you will have the valuable time once again to spend with family.
Hope all goes well for you Steve.

Well at least an upside might be -
less horrid Isuzus on the trails
less of those archaic cart springs being fitted

Enjoy the time with your kids whilst you can Steve, I'm trying to make up for it now with my Grandkids

Hi Steve, Yes had noticed you not being on site lately.
You lucky man, not everyone gets a second chance at life and you have chosen to re-evaluate where and what you are doing. Health and Family are your two greatest assets. Take all the time you like to enjoy them.
All the best to you, your wife and family.
SEE YOU ON THE TRAIL,
FITZY.

Well hmm... first response bugger... looks like I'll need to find another workshop for my engine swap...

Second response, Health and family are waaay more important than the shed. Hope to see you out and about more :) ...

Work / life balance is a difficult one... I certainly havent got it right yet :D
