L200 in da norf

Post by Akzle »

Hi all, joined to have a browse.
have a (recently) dead L200, 4g54b, blown 3 heads in it's time (two in recent history) which has me royally cursing the bastard that did the work. (not me, for a change)
so i'm looking for a 4d56 to swap in. i may or may not rebuilt the 2.6 as i also have a magna with the same engine, but transaxle and narrow block, so can swap some parts over.

my 4x4 missions haven't been extensive, but i'd be damned keen to get into it further when my truck's going again.

the old man has a hi-top cruiser (4.0 i6) as his grey nomad weapon of choice, that he's heading round oz in, and he might be bringing it back later (or taking it over to africa or the states) so might end up sliding around with him in a couple of years.

anyway. 'allo.
