Has one tryed a small sc14 or similar supercharger on a v6 vitara. was thinking of removing the a/c system and insalling one with some custom mounts.

I think there was someone on the Aussie Suzuki forum (auszookers.com) that tried it, or was going to do it. It was quite a while ago though.

Have been thinking about it, I would run the supercharger after the throttle body/AFM and do the bypass as the sc-12/14 weren't designed to run full time. You might be able to get away a lot of boost down low and just use the standard computer but as the revs increase the injectors won't be able to supply fuel. The injectors are fairly closely sized for peak power so they'll need changing if you want decent power increase. It's a guess if the ECU will be able to control the fuel properly so I had to budget in an aftermarket unit and a tune.
All that taken into account I'd have to consider a 1UZ/3UZ swap as you get a better low ratio in the transfer box and a stronger drive train. I'm also assuming the diffs will be changed out as well...

You could always swap to the H25 V6 out of a Grand Vitara, there are a few people who have done it on auszookers and it sounds like a fairly easy swap.
