Hi guys,

Mt Egmont 4wd Club, Taranaki is holding a 4x4 pairs comp on the 5th October 2013.
Open to all grade club trucks/winch trucks/trials trucks and utv's (would love to see some RZR's) but pairs must consist of the same grade/class trucks.

All entries go in the draw to win a $1100 Powerbuilt Toolbox full of tools.

The day will be set out like a normal 4x4 trial with pegged hazards catering for club truck to extreme trials trucks.

If one truck in the pair DNF's then the team can carry on with the remaining truck.

As of last night we have 13 pairs entered but we are capping entry numbers to 25 pairs(50 trucks).

Entry fee is $100 per team.

Hi guys,

Opened a can of worms inviting utv's to pairs comp.
Club trucks entering will have to meet trial rules in order to compete. We will be having scrutineering so go to NZ 4x4 trials website and check that your truck complies with comp rules please.

Competitors need to be affiliated with a 4wd club, just so you are covered under the New Zealand Four Wheel Drive association insurance.

Anyone from Welly going to this?

I think it's Ron, they were a pair and you can drive other truck if yours breaks down.

(not sure though, I wasn't there.)
