Need advice on putting 14bt rotary pump onto 13bt engine

Post by Hilsey »

Hi,

I am looking at putting a 14bt rotary pump onto my 13bt direct injected inline motor but haven't been able to find much information on installation etc Does anybody have any know-how on this ie: timing gear, timing housing mount and the pump timing? Also is the 14bt Direct or Indirect injected?

Cheers

14BT would be direct injected as according to wikipedia the 1 in the engine title designates direct injection.

Id use the whole 14bt engine :D Have you got a 14bt pump?
Toyota Landcruiser FJ40, front and rear lockers, 35" simex.
Toyota FJ45 build in progress.
Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set.
