Will a LJ78 Factory rear locker fit a KZJ95 Prado

Hi there, Will the factory rear diff lock head out of a LJ78 Prado fit a KZJ95 Prado rear axle housing.
NH SWB Pajero 3.0L V6 manual Rear locker, lifted, Snorkel KL71's Warn winch Various dents and scrapes

NT LWB Pajero Exceed 3.2 Diesel Factory rear locker

different diffs i think, rear kzj95 is usually a lsd
70 series prado (KZJ78) and 90 Series Prado (KZJ95)

Depends...
If you mean will it fit to a KZJ95 which had a std diff.. then no, as the locker diffs are a different shape in the mating flange to accommodate the actuator fork. It would need to be modified...(I have done a non locker housing in a KZJ78 but I put in an e locker from another KZJ78)

If you mean between two diff lock axle assy's... I am unsure. Looking at Toyodiy.com comparing gaskets the std diffs appear the same.. but cant determine what the locked diff gasket number is... Perhaps a trip to Toyota and ask them...

That answers my question thanks, the KZJ95 is just a standard open diff so the locker wont fit, Damn.

Not to say it wont fit but you will have to do something like this.

Retro fitting e lockers into std housings is quiet common..
Just not sure if that e locker / diff combo will...

I'd say it would fit but with a little shoe horning.. :wink:
