Bonnet wont lock

the bonnet closes nicely but the latch wont travel far enuff to lock in place.

I haven't had the front apart so it should all line up.

the bonnet hits the cross beam right in front of the radiator.

Try spray the latch with crc (I like their 'syntex' product) or similar, and work linkages with a screwdriver to help work it in.
Also double check the release lever hasn't jammed holding it open.

is the cable seize from the cab to engine bay. mite have contact for one if needed?
