When replacing the timing belt on my Jimny G13BB I discovered that some rough bugger has replaced the timing belt in the past but couldn't get the bottom pulley off,so they cut the bottom off the plastic cover leaving a gigantic gap for mud to get into the timing belt. The wreckers won't separate the plastic cover off a complete motor. Anyone happen to have a broken motor I can buy ,beg, borrow, steal the timing belt cover off?? Anyone happen to know if there are any 13gBB at pick a part or anything else that might fit?
Tony

I've got one off a G16B 16v - couple of the bolt holes broken (I've looked at 3, they all seem to have at least 1 broken, I just put big washers on now) I suspect they're the same? If anyone can confirm they fit and you can get it, you're welcome to it. In on the Kapiti coast. My major hobby seems to be collecting cracked 16v heads...

I would doubt the one off a G16 would fit as they have a taller block but you may be able to cut the bottom part off it and join it to your current cover?

That would be better than having a big gap for mud to get in.

Low range offroad. 33USD they have a list of what it fits - seems pretty generic for the G13 - I will be ordering a G16 one for around 38 bucks and a few other bits from them.

I got given a G16 cover from a friendly wrecker and there's no way it will fit - block height mainly from the look of it. Similar but taller.

I have one off the early G13's with gasket really mint apart from 25mm chip from the top of the cover easy as to glue back in. Pm some postage info and will get the wife to send it for very little (prob 5 bucks)

Pm me a bank account number and i will pay direct into that. Great result as this was looking as if it was going to be a bit of a problem.
