So ive just got a second hand set of 35"11.5"15" silverstones and need to get rims to suit. Nothing flash just some white spokes or the like. What off set would be best? Im running a 3" lift if that makes any difference.
Cheers.

Just factory offset will be fine -24. You probably will need to do some inner guard adjusting. Best to get them on and see we're you need to trim. Have you done the rear quarter chop?

I've recently changed from 8in to 6in rims - keeps the bead tighter at low pressures and less crap gets in the bead. 7in rims are probably ideal, but you use what you can get... Also - get the heaviest steel rims you can find cos at low pressure the rims take a beating. And you want them sitting so they're the widest part of the truck - that way your tyres slide along banks, not the panel-work. Mine are about 40mm backspace - not easy to find a real deep centre - I had to flip the centres to get mine right.

I had my centres flipped also to -75 on 7 inch rims liked the way they handled but chew wheel bearings pretty quick. Note that they have to mounted on 8 inch rims if you want them legal. ( pretty sure it's 8 check on tyre what it states they should be mounted on)

Sweet. Cheers for the input. Yip ive chopped the rear quarters so that shouldnt be an issue.
Am thinking 8" would be best (just the whole legal/insurance deal).... now off set, would prefer something that wont require engineering. Have seen on 4wd bits site some ROH 15x8 -22 for $115ea - in black of course

I reckon that could be a go.

I think you'll find you need -24 to clear calipers ect.

Most 15 x 8 will fit a Safari, brake caliper clearance isn't an issue for any rim 0 or a negative offset. There is a limit in how negative you can go and still be road legal, even with cert.
