Newish in the Naki

Hi all, been registered for a while but still a noob. We got rid of our 430,000km Bighorn earlier this year (still going like a new one) as I wasn't needing the size anymore. Still needing some 4wd capability for the life-sentence block, I started looking for a flat deck series Landy because I always wanted one. 6 months of fruitless searching (didn't want to drag one home from hundreds of km away) I ended up with a 94 Daihatsu Rugger. I thought parts could be hard to get but so far no issues sourcing a cheap good quality cam belt kit, manifold gaskets etc. Loving the little thing so far despite the bouncy ride. It's on 31" m/t's and behaves surprisingly well on the road. Mine is the F73 SWB hardtop with coils and IFS. I'm planning to remove the egr, and de-coke the manifolds, clean out the radiator and intercooler, timing belt, fluids etc.
I notice the Daihatsu forum on here is quiet compared to mainstream ones... I'll try and contribute some helpful info as and when I fiddle with my truck.

Cheers!

Hi, and welcome! Are you still interested in a flatdeck Series?

One day! Got a few too many vehicles right now. Do you have one?
