Miss/surge on 94 Ssrx 3.0 D

Hi all, my Toyota has what I would describe a slight miss or surge, it almost feels like a fuel issue! It occurs at random times when cruising, I've put in a diesel additive thinking it may clean out plus I've had the fuel filters replaced but its still happening. Has anyone got any ideas what to check or do please.

ecu can cause issues in these trucks, ecu fix cleared up the weird idle in mine

it will be one of the sensors on the injector pump I had the same issue on the one I had
