Looking at getting some work done by these guys, seem nice enough on the phone. No one had any issues?

They're called, "Ricks Auto Center" now.
I've had plenty of work done there. Good outfit.
I've also had work done at, "Kaipoi Repowers". They're a good outfit too.

I used them to set install a lok rite i purchased off them ....i told them wanted 4 spider as that what code on firewall said..... they said "never seen a 4spider one in one before will sell you sell you 2 spider ...so they got the 2 spider .... i took out diff head ...then saw it was 4 spider....they didnt have 1 so had to reinstall the dif head ...2 weeks later they got correct lok rite ....was installed fine by them....but they changed there mind on how much it was to do instasll ...told me would be 70 , then asked for 80 .Didnt matter i had wasted 4 hours of my own time as they were wrong ....GET a QUOTE for any work done...other people have had no issues ..ill never use them again.

have started using them for my toys, allways helpful, fast, and seem to know there stuff. Rick loaned me a near new superwinch, when I cooked mine.
pretty sure if they said it was $70 bucks above, then charged 80 cuse that's what the time sheets / what ever came to be, they would take $70 when you reminded them? and yes, anything like this, if you are worried about it, you should get a quote.......not an estimate?

I am pretty sure you will find that it was 70 dollars but then you have to add gst making it 80. I have never had any issues with Rick and Mike and i would never hesitate to send anyone there.

Rick at 4wdacc in my opinion gives away far too much information for free, he's forever spending long amounts of time talking to customers whom a lot of the time go away with the info he's given them and do the work themselves or have someone the know who's a bit mechanical help them.
That's Rick, not many others out there in business do that, sure he make's a few mistakes, and maybe misquoted on the odd occasion, can't keep everyone happy
He's a good honest bloke, really good at his job, love's it with a passion and i've never seen him rip anyone off, he makes fark all for himself at the end of his bills for all the effort he put's in
If you want good, honest help, and 4x4 work he'll give you that.

Rick's shop is A1 fella. You won't go wrong. He was my one and only mechanic when I lived back in NZ. He's a good laugh to go 4wheelin with as well.

Have only had a few small things done but have always received excellent service and advice from Rick.

It's said that it's a hard road finding a good tradesman, but finding good customers is harder in my experience  Can't please everyone.
