VL Commodore Rear shocks into a Vitara SWB

Will they fit? Looking for a bit more travel

give them a measure i just put bmw 318 rear shocks in the back of mine . std escudo ones are 310mm compressed 470 mm open , thats going from middle of hole to where it sits on the rubber at the top, mine must be about 570mm open , and the std spring is loose but not falling out . cheers vaughan

yea they do fit and they are good for a little more travel....but if you like comfort your better to go for something out of a lighter car...ive got dx corolla ones in the back of mine and there nice and soft, the commowhore ones are a bit hard, but if you dont give a shit yep go for it :lol:

so do pretty much any shocks fit them and you just want the right compressed and extended lengths?

yeah they are the ones, they went in great ,i put the scudo rubbers on the bmw shocks and bolted straight in, pm your email and will send pics of travel /compression on mine. cheers vaughan
