Thoughts on chipping a 2.5 triton?

I see there are a few chips on trade me, ranging from $695 to $2000 that appear to add in some extra fuel for a boost in torque.
The magnum and original tuning box caught my eye but maybe there are others?

Very interested to hear of peoples experiences with these

:-)

for nissan abviously but have a squizz, the triton and Paj is sold new over there so should have em aswell.

I'd suggest fitting a pyro gauge too so ya can keep an eye on ya motor

this is how i get close to 900 kms off 55 litres of diesel or can over take a new hilux with the flick of a switch.

I have run mine chipped since 20k. (done 40k now)
I import them... Or just buy one from racechip.de The base model works fine, I run the ultimate model and don't really notice the difference.

Hasn't hurt fuel economy as it has been crap since new. Definitely recommend one. Only thing I have found is that you'll have to tighten the hose clips on the turbo hoses, I blew them all off. I also got an overboost fault last week, doing 125k in 4th cog, passing 3 trucks and bosses 2013 hilux up hill fully loaded. Full motor shutdown!
