cambelt cost on 3ltr v3 1995?

How much to get cambelt done on the 3ltr v6 pajero, considering a purchace of a 95 and wondering what the replacement cost would be

I did mine. Cost about $125 for cam belt and $40 for a new water pump. Quite easy to work on compared to the 3.5 motor.

I'm not very mechanically inclined. I can do oil change etc but that's about as far as I'm wiling to go myself. Any idea how much at a workshop?

Depends what shop you go to but generally speaking a labour rate of about 75+gst per hour @ 4hours plus parts maybe around 350-400+ equals about 700+gst. I'd budget around that. If you go to some hillbilly place then maybe 500 or less, if you go to a mitsi dealer then probably more up around 900 I'd imagine.
