Are you sure the clutch is engaging?

If your getting any drive at all, I would have thought it would have to be the clutch :?

Make sure mud, small stones and sticks hav'nt flung out in your pressure plate stopping release fingers from returning to clamping position.Had this happen to me once.

can you remove the fork and check thats it's not bent and that the springs are workig on it to help close the the plate up against the flywheel.

Toyota surfs had 2 piece flywheels, with rubber connecting the 2 together (I think). This was to stop vibrations from the diesel motors, but the rubber between would strip, allowing one side of the flywheel to drive but, but the 2nd wouldn't.

I'd keep checking around the clutch though.

so when you got it home, you were in 2h, you put it in first and let the clutch out, and i did nothing? no drop in revs, no movement, just sat there as if nothing had hppened?
did the clutch pedal feel any differant? did it still have clutch feel to it?

and if you reved it it was like it was in neutral?

i reckon you got some crap in your clutch somwhere.

id give all the clutch parts a huge cleanout then put them back in and try it again.

but im no mechanic so i could be wrong.

Ok, wen the clutch out, did you drop engine or box out to check?
if box, does drive go thru box? put in gear, try to turn input shaft.
does OUTPUT shaft turn?
if Engine out, do same thing, is resistance to turning forces?
can you turn drive shafts?
follow whole drive train thru, with all wheels up in air. then you will be able to isolate prob easier.

Take the clutch plate and the cover to clutch systems on Hazeldeen rd and they will test it for you, it sounds like a broken diaphragm spring in the clutch cover. :)
