Where are you located? I'm sure someone will be able to give some guidance
if they know a rough location and maybe the condition of the motor to be rebuilt.
To add your location to your profile click "Home" on the top left of the page then on the Right click "Private messages" then on "Profile"
Welcome to the forum.

Just get an 8-Valve 1600, looks exactly the same. The 1300 is not worth spending any money on.

While that might fool the WOF man you probably won't be able to get it past the insurance company, especially if the accident involves hitting an expensive vehicle.

im with nzlux..... I only use it to run to work in so more power isn't what im after im sure its cheaper to rebuild the little 1300 than to buy a 1600 let alone get it into the truck
cheers

Don't think so, my 1600 conversion costs were $500 for motor, $50 for new top end gasket kit, $150 new timing belt kit (you will need those things for a rebuild anyway) and $200 for the adaptor kit. Ppffftt if you're driving a suzuki you probably can't afford insurance anyway.
